chicken spring rolls

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 quart oil for deep frying
  •  chicken(cut into small pieces), drained and flaked
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded cabbage
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1/4 cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 1 dash soy sauce
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (14 ounce) package spring roll wrappers
       DIRECTIONS

Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large, heavy saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together chicken, onion, cabbage, carrot, barbeque sauce, hot pepper sauce, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Place approximately 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of spring roll wrappers. Moisten fingers with water, and wet the edges of the wrappers. Roll around the filling. Press seams to seal.
In small batches, deep fry the spring rolls 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

yummy quesadilla

tasty yummy quesadilla can be prepared in minutes.
cut the boneless chicken into small pieces and bake it in oven for 30 min until they get soft. you can add some paprika and chillipowder to garnish them and bake them.warm up the tortilla put the chicken into it , add some tomato sauce, sour cream and lettuce cheese and chand fold them to the half. cut it in triangles and lo the recipe is ready

happy vinayaka chavithi

Hi All,
Wishing you all a very Happy Vinayaka Chavithi. we celebrated vinaya ka chavithi in all its pomp and excitement. we had the palavalli decorated with fruits and flowers and made a big garland for vinayaka.My in laws, myself, my hubby and my niece prayed to Ganapathi for his blessings.
we prepared kudumulu, vundrallu, kajjikayalu, payasam and talikulu as naivedyam.
May the lord shower his blessings on all of us so that our dreams come true. Have a wonderful time

Microwaveable vegetable biryani

This recipe is for vegetable biryani in microwave.you can prepare it just like that. but you need to have the seasonings with you.
i usually get the seasoning done on the stove. in a frying pan put some butter and add all the seasoning like the cinnamon, jeera,cloves,basil leaves and sone chillies. after they are fried take washed basmati rice in a microwaveable bowl , add all the seasoning, mixed vegetables, roasted onions,salt,ginger garlic paste,masala powder,roasted cashews, sprinkle some coriander leaves on the top and set it away for 18 min and you can have the biryani ready to go. serve with raitha

Easy Quick meal in 6 min

Today i was not feeling like carrying rice to work but was not in the mood to get it from outside either. so i just took out a packet from ramen noodles, broke it down into small pieces and added ginger garlic paste, mixed vegetables(to the quantity you desire), salt, masala, chillipowder.
Add this to a microwave box and got it. in afternoon i added enough quantity of water to it and placed it in the microwave for 6 minutes and your noodles are ready. Add lemon juice if you have it with you.
yummy tasty noodles in just 6 min. Enjoy
This is particularly usefull for people who love noodles and not in the mood for heavy lunch
